DYDO, in partnership with Mothers First, implemented the Listening Tents Theatre Project at the New Naasa-Hablood B IDP Camp in Hargeisa as part of the September 2023 Nutrition Assessment. The initiative combined community theatre and listening spaces to raise awareness on maternal and child nutrition while gathering firsthand feedback from displaced families. Through interactive drama sessions, mothers and caregivers learned essential nutrition practices, and the listening tents provided a platform for open dialogue on challenges affecting children’s health. The project strengthened community engagement, supported vulnerable households, and generated valuable insights to guide future nutrition interventions.
